Driving licence and eyesight
You must hold a current valid licence (either provisional or full) which must be produced on the first lesson. You must also be able to read a number plate from a distance 20 metres (67 feet) using your glasses if normally worn. 

Payments
Lesson payments should be made at the beginning of each lesson. Where an intensive or semi intensive course is booked a £150 deposit will be required. This is a non-refundable deposit unless of exceptional circumstances, where a refund is at the discretion of the instructor. Where the instructor is unable to undertake the course for whatever reason then a full refund will be given. The balance of the course cost should be paid at least two weeks before the courses start date. Pre paid lessons last for 6 months from date of purchase.

Lesson Cancellation
You will need to give a minimum of 48 hours notice should you need to cancel a lesson. Otherwise full lesson fee will be charged and must be paid before the next lesson is booked in. If you cancel regularly you will be asked to pre-pay for your lessons.  If you have a break of longer than two weeks between lessons, we cannot guarantee availability as your instructor cannot hold slots open. This includes the time after taking a driving test.

Use of the vehicle 
In the interest of yours and the public's safety, we reserve the right to withdraw the use of the training car for the driving test, if in our opinion, your driving is potentially or actually dangerous.  The instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson at short notice if it is suspected that the pupil may be unfit to drive due to the affects of alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise) or any other condition that would cause his/her driving to be dangerous or illegal. In such circumstances the lesson fee will be payable.

Punctuality
After arriving at your nominated pick up point for your lesson but there is no reply at the address in question, we will wait approximately 10 minutes. If after 10 minutes, you have not made contact or we are unable to reach you, the lesson will be abandoned and you will be required to pay for the lesson(s) in question.
